الأب نيقولاوس لودوفيكوس في البلمند
زار معهد القديس يوحنّا الدمشقي اللاهوتي في يوم الاثنين 23 نيسان 2018، قدس الأب نيقولاوس لودوفيكوس الذي يعتبر من أهم اللاهوتيين الأرثوذوكس في العصر الحديث، وهو رئيس قسم اللاهوت الرعائي في الأكاديمية الكنسيّة في سالونيك، والأستاذ الزائر في معهد الدراسات المسيحيّة الأرثوذكسيّة في جامعة كامبريدج، والباحث في جامعة وينشستر في المملكة المتحدة. كما أنّه درس علم النفس والتربية في جامعة أثينا، واللاهوت في جامعة سالونيك، والفلسفة في جامعة السوربون في باريس. وحصل على درجة الدكتوراه في عام 1989 من كلية اللاهوت في جامعة أرسطو في سالونيك عن أطروحته:"الوجود الإفخارستي في الفكر اللاهوتي للقديس مكسيموس المعترف". وله الكثير من الكتب والمطبوعات اللاهوتيّة.
ألقى الأب نيقولاوس عدّة محاضرات لاهوتيّة عقائديّة لطلاب معهد اللاهوت تضمّنت مواضيع متعلقة بلاهوت الخلق والكنيسة ودور الأسقف. وفي يوم السبت 28 نيسان، ألقى قدسه محاضرة في القاعة الأثريّة في دير سيدة البلمند البطريركي بعنوان "ما هي التوبة؟"، وذلك بحضور صاحب السيادة سرجيوس (عبد) متروبوليت سنتياغو وتشيلي الجزيل الإحترام، وصاحب السيادة إغناطيوس (سمعان) متروبوليت المكسيك وفنزويلا وأمريكا الوسطى وجزر الكاريبي الجزيل الاحترام، وقدس الأرشمندريت رومانوس الحناة رئيس دير سيدة البلمند البطريركي، وقدس الأب بورفيريوس جرجي عميد معهد القديس يوحنّا الدمشقي اللاهوتي الذي قدَّم للمحاضرة، ولفيف من الكهنة والشمامسة والطلاب والمؤمنين. بيَّن قدس الأب نيقولاوس أهميّة التوبة كخبرة محبة الله في حياة الإنسان المسيحي شارحاً مخاطر النرجسيّة التي يعاني منها الإنسان المعاصر. تكلَّلت المحاضرة بعدد من الأسئلة وجهها الحضور.
Fr. Nikolaos Loudovikos in Balamand
The St. John of Damascus of Damascus Institute of Theology welcomed Fr. Nikolaos Loudovikos during the week of April 23-28, 2018. Fr. Nikolaos is an esteemed psychologist, author and professor of Domatics. He received a Ph.D in 1989 from the Theological faculty of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and the University of Sorbonne in Paris. The title of his dissertation was: The Eucharistic Ontology in the Theological Thought of St. Maximus the Confessor. which was published in a book, among many books he authored. Today he is the Chair of the Department of Theology and Pastoral Studies and a Professor of Dogmatics and Philosophy at the University Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki, a Visiting Professor at the Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies in Cambridge, and an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Winchester, U.K.
Fr. Nikolaos gave several lectures on dogmatic theology to the students of the Institute of Theology. The lectures were about, Creation, Ecclesiology, and Episcopacy. On Saturday, April 28, Fr. Loudovikos gave a public lecture on “What is Repentance?” In attendance were Their Eminences Metropolitan Sergio of Chile and Ignatius of Mexico and the Caribbean, and the Abbot of the Balamand Patriarchal Monastery, the Archimandrite Romanos Al Hannat, and many clergy and people that came from different regions in the North of Lebanon. He was first introduced by Fr. Porphyrios, the Dean of the Institute of Theology. Fr. Nikolaos thanked the Dean, and spoke about repentance as the experience of the love of God in the life of the people. He also pointed to the dangers of today’s narcissisms. Many questions followed the lecture.
