لقاء التعارف للسنة الجديدة
مساء الثلاثاء الثاني عشر من أيلول 2015، اجتمعت أسرة معهد القدّيس يوحنّا الدمشقي اللاهوتي-البلمند، على عادتها السنويّة، في سهرة تعارف للطلّاب، والأساتذة والموظّفين.
بعد مباركة المائدة، افتُتحت السهرة بفقرات عرّف فيها طلّاب كلّ أبرشيّة عن أنفسهم بأسلوبهم الخاص. تركّزت الفقرات هذه السنة على حياة الطلّاب الداخلّية وآمالهم في المعهد، بشكلّ مشجّع ومرحّب بالطلّاب الجدد، وبأسلوب فرِح.
واختُتِمت السهرة بكلمة العميد الترحيبيّة متمنّيًا أن تكون سنة مثمرة كما يريدها الأساتذة والطلّاب.
New Year’s meeting Night
On September 12 2015, the Balamandian family was gathered in a welcome dinner for the new seminarians at the Saint John of Damascus Institute of Theology.
The evening was inaugurated by chanting the Apolytikion of our Patron Saint, John of Damascus and the blessing of the meal. Later the seminarians introduced themselves in several sessions.
In this year’s performing sessions, students focused on amusingly welcoming the new comers and bringing out their internal life at the Institute. They also reflected their hope and expectations to their new colleagues. The evening was concluded by a welcome speech addressed by Fr. Porphyrios. He asked the Lord to grant us a fruitful and a blessed year.
