محاضرة الأستاذ سبينكس من جامعة يال - أميركا
بعد ظهر الخميس الواقع في 7 أيّار 2015، أقيمت المحاضرة الرابعة ضمن سلسلة المحاضرات التّسعة لسنة 2015 بعنوان "أنطاكيا والليتورجيا"، والتي ينظمها معهد القديس يوحنّا الدمشقي اللاهوتي - جامعة البلمند، برعاية صاحب الغبطة البطريرك يوحنّا العاشر، بطريرك أنطاكيا وسائر المشرق. كان الحضور ملفتًا في قاعة المثلّث الرحمات البطريرك إغناطيوس الرابع في المعهد، إذ حضرت مجموعة من المهتمين من أساتذة وطلّاب.ألقى قدس الأب الدكتور براين سبينكس الأستاذ والباحث من معهد الليتورجيا والرعاية في جامعة يال محاضرته حول "التأثير الليتورجي لثيوذوروس المبسويستي على سرّ الشكر: التعاليم للموعوظين والأنافورات"، وقد تحدّث فيها عن المساهمة الأنطاكية الهامة في وضع خدمة القداس الإلهي من خلال أحد المفسّرين الكبار وهو ثيوذورس المبسوستي زميل القديس يوحنا الذهبي الفم. لطاما كانت أنطاكيا حاضرة بقوّة في تاريخ وحياة الكنيسة الجامعة وخاصّةً فيما يتعلّق بالليتورجيا.
Yale Professor Lectures in Balamand
On Thursday, May 7, 2015, the fourth lecture of the Series “Antioch and Liturgy” was given by the Rev. Dr. Bryan Spinks, Professor and Program Coordinator in Liturgical Studies and Pastoral Theology at Yale Divinity School and Institute of Sacred Music, Yale University. The title of his public lecture was: “The Liturgical Influence of Theodore of Mopsuestia on the Eucharist: Catechesis and Anaphoras.” This lecture took place at the Patriarch Ignatius IV Hall of the Institute, in the presence of the Faculty of Theology students, invited priests, and interested professors. It is part of the liturgical series of lectures given by international scholars for the year 2015, and organized by our Institute of Theology, under the High Auspices of His Beatitude Patriarch John X of Antioch and all the East. This series unveils the pivotal role of the Church of Antioch in the formation of the Liturgy of the universal Church.
