لقاء صاحب الغبطة بالطلاب
كعادته، وبفضل محبّته واهتمامه الكبيرين، يخصّ صاحب الغبطة البطريرك يوحنّا العاشر طلاّب معهد القديس يوحنّا الدّمشقي اللاهوتي ببعضٍ من وقته الثّمين، ليعبّر لهم دائمًا عن محبّته الأبويّة ويقدّم الدّعم والإرشاد على سائر الأصعدة وخاصّة الروحيّة منها.
فكان اللّقاء هذه المرّة في أوّل يوم من الصّوم الأربعيني المقدّس. وتناول صاحب الغبطة في الحديث موضوع الصوم واليقظة الروحيّة. "فعلينا كمؤمنين، أوّلاً، وكطلاّب لاهوت، ثانيًا، أن نتمتّع بحسّ مرهف تجاه أعمالنا وأفكارنا وأقوالنا وكلّ تفاصيل حياتنا، حسٍّ مرهف ودقيق كحسّ ميزان الجوهرجي الذي ينقّيه صاحبه حتّى من أصغر الغبار، حتى لا تعطل عمله".
صاحب الغبطة، نشكر محبّتكم واهتمامكم الدّائم، وتوجيهاتكم القيّمة، وبالأخصّ صلاتكم من أجلنا التي نطلبها دائمًا.
His Beatitude Meets with the Students
As usual, with his great love and care, His Beatitude Patriarch JOHN X used his stay at Balamand to give the Students of Saint John of Damascus Institute of Theology some of his precious time to express his fatherly love and support them on all levels, especially on the spiritual one.
The meeting took place on the first day of the Holy Lent. His Beatitude spoke about this Lent and about the spiritual vigilance, which this period helps us achieve. “As faithful people in general and Theology Students in particular, we must have sensitivity towards our works, thoughts, words and all details of our lives. This sensitive feeling is as delicate as a Jeweler’s scale which is purified by its owner so that dust doesn’t affect his work.”
