Program
The academic courses of the M.Th., which are part of the three graduate programs (M.Th. in Pastoral Studies, M.Th. in Dogmatic Theology, M.Th. in Biblical Studies), provide the student with significant exposure to the various disciplines of Orthodox Theology.
These programs are designed to be completed in two years by full-time students. At the end of the second year, the student presents his/her Master's thesis. The length of study can be extended up to four years.
Clergymen and students having more than 24 years of age can reside off campus. All other students are asked to reside in Campus.

Opening the way for graduates and priests to continue their theological education. | |
Equipping priests and laymen with theological knowledge to teach at high academic level. |
Course Requirements:
Each candidate for the M.Th. degree programs is required to complete successfully 33 credits, which include the following:
- * 24 Required Credits for each program
- * 3 Elective Credits taken from the other two programs
- * A Thesis Paper (equivalent to 6 credits in course work)

Registration Requirements:
1. Students who have completed their B.A. from St. John of Damascus Faculty of Theology or from other Orthodox theological schools are allowed to register for the MA program.2. Students from theological schools other than orthodox are accepted upon approval of the Faculty's council. Some students may have to take prerequisite courses for the program.
3. Graduates holding a degree in Arts & Social Sciences can also register for the program after taking some courses from the B.A. of Theology program in order to qualify them for the M.Th.
The required certificates for registration are the following:

- Motivation Letter

- Medical Certificates
- Judicial Record for Non-Clericals
- Canonical Certificate for Clergy
