In the occasion of the Week of Prayer for the Unity of Christians, the Association of Theological Schools in the Middle East (ATIME) held its annual Choir Festival. The Festival gathered the choirs from different theological schools in Lebanon and Syria, each showing its rich heritage in ecclesiastical music. The event was held on Sunday evening, January 15, 2006, at the St. George Maronite Cathderal in Downtown Beirut. The St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology Choir led by Instructor Michael Hourani participated in the event. It chanted selected hymns and offered meditations about the search for unity among Christians. . |
