خدمة الرعايا في زمن الصوم الكبير
في زمن الصوم الكبير تنشط جوقة معهد القديس يوحنا الدمشقي في خدمة الرعايا المجاورة والبعيدة عبر صلوات النوم الكبرى والقداس السابق تقديسه (البروجزماني)، وذلك ضمن تقليد بلمندي قديم يهدف إلى التعبير عن محبّتنا للآخرين ومشاركتنا إيّاهم في الصلاة. هذه السنة توزّعت زياراتنا على عدّة مناطق وبلدات بدءًا بالبربارة، فكفرحباب، فددّه، وكفر قاهل. ويبقى أن نلبّي الدّعوة إلى بيروت وبلّونه في الأيام القادمة. نشكر الجميع على محبّتهم وثقتهم بجوقتنا، ونشكر الله الذي يجمعنا حوله وحول جسده ودمه المقدّسين عبر الصلاة التي نرجو أن تستقيم أمامه كالبخور.
Serving Parishes during the Lenten Period
During the Lenten period, the St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology Choir becomes active in serving the Great Compline and Presanctified Liturgy in both neighboring and far parishes. This is an old Balamandian tradition that aims to express our love for others through participating with them in prayer. This year, we visited several towns and regions: Barbara town, Kfarehbab, Deddeh and Kfarqahel. We will also visit Beirut and Ballouneh in the coming days. We thank everyone for their love and trust in our choir; we also thank God for keeping us gathered around His Holy Body and Blood through prayer, hoping that this prayer “is set forth as incense before Him”.
