Balamand Institute of Theology at Bioethics Consultation Conference

Beirut - April 08-09 2005

The Saint John of Damascus Institute of Theology participated in the second session of the Bioethics Consultation organized by ATIME at Antelias on April 08-09 2005. Students from both the undergraduate and graduate programs took part in the event. Dr. Daniel Ayuch, Balamand Professor of Biblical Studies,  gave one of the keynote speeches on Administrating Life and the Beginning of Life According to Scripture.

Professionals from different fields such as Medicine, Philosophy, Sociology and Theology gave their opinion on important issues such as abortion, cloning, and the definition of life. We appreciated Raban Danial Kouria and Dr. Gibran Souleiman for their commitment and enthusiasm throughout the event.
